Story of a Soul
Few books have touched as many hearts as Story of a Soul. In these pages, St. Thérèse of Lisieux recounts the graces, trials and spiritual discoveries that shaped her life and vocation, and reveals a spirituality rooted in simplicity, confidence, humility and complete trust in God’s mercy.
About the author
St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face (1873–1897) entered the Carmel of Lisieux at fifteen and died there at twenty-four. Pope Pius XI canonized her in 1925, and St. John Paul II proclaimed her a Doctor of the Church in 1997. Her “little way” continues to guide Catholics in every state of life.
